Syria “Day of the Cross” Tour September 2023

TOUR DATES:

  • 9th September 2023 until 15th September 2023

This is my personal favourite when it comes to Syria tours! That’s because I believe the Day of the Cross festival to be one of the most out-there and exciting experiences you can have in the country, and it’s definitely something you shouldn’t miss!

This tour isn’t limited only to the festival in Maaloula, though. We also visit some other unique and off-the-beaten-track places that you don’t find in many other Syria itineraries at all. For instance, we’ll be going to Quneitra (The Golan Heights), Bosra Al Sham, hidden parts of old Aleppo and more. On top of that, this tour is going to be very social, and you’ll meet Syrian people from all walks of life. We’ll also visit the ancient ruins of Palmyra, and, just like most Syria tours, the treasures of Old Damascus.

Just to make it even more special, this tour can be booked in combination with our “Iraq Arbaeen Tour”, which is running the week before. On this tour, you’ll take part in the world’s largest pilgrimage. That fact that these events in both Iraq and Syria line up so well means that you must certainly take advantage of the matter and come with us to both!
